Hello, Wikathletes, and welcome to the Wikathlon! I am User:SGuySMW, your host. Some of you must be coming from the Wiki Camp 2, another competition with similar mechanics. But let me be clear, I ditched BFDI a long while ago because it's way too childish for me. (/lh)
I first thought of the Wikathlon in the Wiki Camp 2 Discord VC. When we were discussing ideas for our own competitions, I instantly had a lightbulb moment and created this very Wikathlon. I would like to thank Satomi, the host of the Wiki Camp 2, for making me feel inspired.
Unlike the inspiration, here you get to compete as yourself. And what better to have a first round than to make a page for yourself, describing yourself and all that? Make sure to add some humorous or clever flair. Anything goes.
